A Note from Keri Kropp about the Hill Country Flood
Dear Friends,
The recent flooding in our community has left us all devastated. We’ve seen so much loss, and the road ahead feels long and uncertain. In the face of such overwhelming tragedy, we have sprinted out of the gate to help however we could. Now the marathon of recovery and rebuilding continues.
The weight of the situation is hard to put into words. Our hearts are broken for those affected, and we are still processing the immense scale of the devastation. Each day feels like a new challenge, but together, we will rise and rebuild.
Here’s what we, as a team at Keri Kropp Goods and Finery, are doing:
- Donating to the organizations that have been the backbone of our community’s efforts to rescue, recover, and rebuild.
- Volunteering whenever we can to lend a hand to those in need.
- Spreading awareness about the ongoing efforts and ways we can all make a difference together.
- Loving each other through it.
In response to the overwhelming needs in Kerrville and the Hill Country, we are joining with Hill Country artist, Kerr Chief, and dedicating $100 for every scarf purchase to help fund the critical work of the organizations on the front lines of this recovery effort. Pre-Order your Guadalupe Silk Scarf now through Labor Day.
Our community hurting from the devastation, and our people and businesses will also feel the ripple effects on local commerce for months to come. So, please shop local stores online, or call in just to chat or place an order. Visit local restaurants when you come to volunteer your time. Stop by the mom-and-pop businesses. Your support will help ensure the stability and strength of our community as we rebuild together.
For our clients who aren’t in the Hill Country but have asked how they can help, we’ve included some resources for donating and showing your support. Every little bit counts, and together we can make a difference.
We’re all in this together, we believe in the strength of this community, and the power of coming together to heal. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, your generosity, and your unwavering support.
With love and gratitude,
The team at Keri Kropp Goods and Finery

The Hunt Preservation Society works to preserve the natural beauty, rich heritage, and historic legacy of the Hunt community. With the July 4, 2025 horrific flooding, we come together now to help restore and rebuild the Hunt and West Kerr community. 100% of your tax deductible donation will be used to support and rebuild the Hunt community. Our priority is displaced families with children, who do not have insurance and may receive limited FEMA assistance. We have many affected Hunt families, and HPS is working closely with the Hunt School to provide these families the assistance needed urgently. We hope to get them settled in a temporary or permanent residence in time for the start of the school year.
